These magazines are widely published because of their content and reputation, content such as interviews,magazines,posters & CD's, may attract an audience.
So in the proccess of making my magazine i made it compete able with these big brand magazines i did this in many stages.startng with,
Layout,
This magazine is to attract teenagers and people from the older generation thefore the magazine made is simple but quite flashy, also i've kept a fairly traditional music magazine layout for the older readers.
Fonts,
The fonts used in my magazine are very simple and bold, this is for the boldness of my mastheads and headings plus this way it's easyer to read. Quite simple, which goes along with my layout.
Colours,
I have used pink,grey and black. this is because there is a good contrast increasing the boldness of the magazine.
Pictures,
The picture for my front page cover was used because it goes along with the colour scheme of the rest of the magaines, it also looks quite crazy relating to my theme.
Logo,
Many magazines use their mastheads as their logo's and so have i, my black and pink masthead is the logo of my magazine it also matches the house style of my magazine.
Content,
Every magazine has content that attracts an audience, my content is the interview and the free poster inside this should increase the sales.
